MICBasketball’19 tournament will achieve its third edition breaking the record of the participation of different countries. This Thursday, April 18th, the third edition MICBasketball begins with its six categories – U14, U16 and U18 both men and women –. Previously to the initial matches, which will be disputed at 4pm, there will be an opening speech in seven of the eight quarters. The third edition of the MICBasketball will beat the record of countries represented, will count again with referees from all over the world and will involve several towns of the Costa Brava, which will breathe basketball from 18th to 21st of April. Laia Palau was officially presented this Tuesday as the MICBasketball 2019 ambassador. The Catalan player takes on the relief of Pierre Oriola and Núria Martínez, sponsors of the 2018 edition. International MIC tournaments - Mediterranean International Cup of football and basketball, that will be held for Easter in the counties of Girona, have been presented this Tuesday at the Auditorium of Girona. Àlex Granell, player of Girona Futbol Club, and Laia Palau, basketball player of the Spar Citylift Girona, attended the event. Despite being an embryonic tournament, MICBasketball has already different young players who are achieving their professional goals. Or, at least, they have been successful with their clubs or national teams.
