“Herbalife Gran Canaria” has confirmed that they would be attending to MIC Basketball

We keep adding top basketball teams to the tournament. The Claretians will also join the youth basketball tournament during Easter 2017. At this point, “Granca” is not an unknown team to European basketball. Not by accident, its first team is the current “Supercopa ACB” champion, semifinalist in Eurocup in the last two seasons and finalist at the “Copa del rey 2016” in A Coruña too.

Beyond the first team, “Herbalife Gran Canaria” has succeeded in achieving the vanguard of European basketball in youth categories as well. EIn January this team will compete in the youth tournament “Ciudad de L´Hospitalet” which brings together some of the best European teams in the youth categories.

Some of their best results in Spanish championships are as follows:

• Spanish Junior Basketball championship: Fourth place.Spanish runner-up in Lanzarote in 2010.

• Spanish cadet championships in 2016 in Andorra: Runner-up as well as in 2007 in Almeria. Champion in 2006 in Mahón.

That said, in the youth categories amazing players from the present and future have been trained in this club like Edy Tavares, AnzejsPasecniks, RokasGadiliauskas, BiramFaye, AleksanderBalcerowski o JovanKljajic.
